Earth Day Inspiration

With Earth Day coming up I was inspired to write another blog with eco-friendly ideas to help you turn your wedding green.
Base your menu on what's in season.  Ask your caterer about using locally grown, organic foods paired with an organic wine.

Use tree-free or recycled paper and soy based ink for your invitations.

Personalized kraft paper envelopes with plant seeds for guest to take home.

Using all natural plants for bridal bouquet.

As an alternative for lighting, you could use lanterns with soy candles or ask your vendor about LED lights.

We would love to meet with you and figure out how we can help you save money and the earth!

Rustic Weddings

We're seeing rustic weddings more and more these days and we are so excited. They are some of the most unique and unforgettable types of weddings. The unrefined style of this theme gives the bride and groom plenty of room to add an abundance of personal touches to help turn "the big day" into a day they, and many others, will never forget!

Neutral tones and little pops of color is the perfect way to set this theme. Unique textures like burlap, lace and touches of wood will be sure to give your event the rustic and homey feel you're looking for. When thinking centerpieces, the sky is the limit. Using natural decorations like baskets of apples, or homemade potted plants will be so inviting and also double as a cute party favor for your guests. From burlap table cloths to gorgeous centerpieces, this theme will be sure to impress your guests and give you some unforgettable memories!

Cheyanne and Ben Cheekwood Wedding

We are so excited to share these beautiful pictures by Zach and Jody Gray with Gray Photography! Cheyanne and Ben exchanged vows at Wills Garden at the lovely Cheekwood Botanical Garden's. After the ceremony the guest headed over to a cocktail hour followed by an elegant candlelit reception. Nashville Event Planning had the opportunity to coordinate the ceremony and help set up all the reception and ceremony decor. We will miss working with Ben and Cheyanne and wish them the best of luck in all they do!
