I'm excited to share some pictures from our destination wedding in Lynhurst, Ohio this past weekend. The color scheme was purple, pink and white. Ceremony was held at St. Clare's Catholic Church, with a elegant reception to follow at Pine Hurst Country Club. The decor consisted of tall centerpieces with pink and purple flowers, along with candles lite in many different area's to showcase the natural beauty of the room.

Kristen and Jim Belle Meade Plantation Wedding

We are excited to share this destination wedding with you. Kristen and Jim are from Memphis and her parents are from Knoxville, so they wanted to do a destination wedding in the middle and let guest get that real southern wedding feel. Kristen and Jim had a beautiful ceremony and reception at Belle Meade Plantation. The color scheme consist of purple, beige, brown, copper tons and peacock feather. Kristen picked out a various collection of different sized vases and colors with purple and green colors. 

We wanted to thank all of the great vendors that made this day happen: Chris Weaver Photography, Belle Meade Plantation and Staff, Grand Central Party Rental for the linens, Vicki's Signature Cakes, Mackes Catering for the great food, Nashville Party Bus, and Flowers Express.

Derby Inspiration

In honor of Steeplechase coming up this weekend and the Kentucky Derby last weekend, we wanted to share some Derby inspired weddings. If you are already getting married on a horse farm or by a barn, you could always tie in different aspect from the derby. Bright colors, horses, hats, seersucker, horseshoes, cigar bar and you can't forget the famous mint julep.
