Goodlettsville Baseball is a non-profit organization, run solely by volunteers. For many decades now they have been providing a safe place for local youth to play baseball, make new friends, develop confidence, and self esteem. They provide a structured environment in which can help instill the importance of good sportsmanship, hard work, and most importantly following rules today so that they can live by the same rules of good conduct tomorrow. This weekend was the Dixie Youth State Tournament, in which we helped decorate the tables, organize the food set up, and help with entertainment. The decor was baseball themed and for the centerpieces we used glow sticks that each child received . We also found the Zooper animals, they dance and do various tricks for the kids, you may recognize them from professional baseball games. The kids loved them! Grand Party Central was responsible for the tents, jumpers, tables, and chairs.

Yellow and Gray new combo for 2009!
Sorry it's been a while since we've blogged, we have been busy with weddings and corporate events. We will have some new pictures coming later this week!
Sweetly charming, creative or modern-it' s up to you! The new color combo for this summer and early fall is yellow and gray. This is a great palette because you are able to use this in the fall or summer offering endless possibilities. It's hard to imagine cool gray as a wedding color but when you add the sunshine splash of yellow it allows your wedding to become something magical. The combination can be charmingly classic or city chic depending on your decor and how you use it. If you want more ideas, Modern Bride (May 2009) magazine has an article with additional decoration ideas. http://magazine-directory.com/Modern-Bride.htm
